Where is the OBD port in the Peugeot 308 2007–2013

Sit in the driver’s seat. The port is a plastic trapezoid with two rows of holes; the adapter plugs into it.

  1. Where to look

Low between the front seats — by the gear lever, handbrake or armrest.

    Nearby: the gear lever.

Lift the rubber mat out of the small tray in front of the gear lever; the port is under it.

  2. What you’ll see

It’s behind an ashtray or a storage tray — pull it out or open it.

Can’t find it?

Check the other usual places — the most common first:

  1. Under the dashboard, left of the steering wheel
  2. Right under the steering wheel
  3. Under the dashboard, right of the steering wheel
  4. Behind a lid in the lower dashboard, left of the wheel
  5. In the middle of the centre console

It is often behind a cover: a small hinged lid, the fuse-box lid, an ashtray or a storage tray. These usually come off by hand — pull them towards you. Don’t force anything: if a cover won’t give, the port is most likely somewhere else. Where a cover has to be unscrewed, the steps for your car say so.

How to plug the adapter in

  1. Push the adapter into the port, wide side up, all the way in. No force needed: if it won’t go in, turn it over.
  2. Switch on the ignition or start the car — a light on the adapter comes on.
  3. Open Inerka and tap “Connect the adapter” on the map — the app will guide you from there.
