Where is the OBD port in the Renault Kangoo
Where the port is depends on the generation. Pick the years your car was built in — the year is in the registration document.
What year is your car?
- 2004–2007under the dashboard, left of the steering wheel
- 2007–2013between the front seats
- 2013–2021between the front seats
- From 2021under the dashboard, left of the steering wheel
In a changeover year (2007, 2013, 2021) either one is possible — check both guides.
Your year isn’t here? We don’t know the exact spot for it yet — check the usual places below.
Can’t find it?
Check the other usual places — the most common first:
- Under the dashboard, left of the steering wheel
- Right under the steering wheel
- Under the dashboard, right of the steering wheel
- Behind a lid in the lower dashboard, left of the wheel
- In the middle of the centre console
- Between the front seats
It is often behind a cover: a small hinged lid, the fuse-box lid, an ashtray or a storage tray. These usually come off by hand — pull them towards you. Don’t force anything: if a cover won’t give, the port is most likely somewhere else. Where a cover has to be unscrewed, the steps for your car say so.
